Welcome....
As someone born and raised in Northern BC, I understand the realities of living and working here. Life here can ask a lot of you — the isolation, the pressure to keep going, the expectation to be strong, capable, and self-reliant no matter what’s going on underneath.
It’s not always easy to talk about what you’re carrying. Many people learn to push through, to handle things on their own, or to stay quiet about struggles that feel heavy, confusing, or even shameful. Over time, that can lead to feeling exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of yourself.
Burnout, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, trauma, or relationship challenges can all show up in ways that make life feel harder than it should. For some, there are also the quieter impacts of past experiences, cultural pressures, or intergenerational trauma — things that don’t always get spoken about, but are deeply felt.
If you’ve ever felt like you have to hold it all together, or that there isn’t really space to talk about what’s going on for you, you’re not alone. Feelings of guilt, shame, or not feeling “good enough” can be incredibly isolating — but they are also more common than you might think.
Healing doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It often begins with having a space where you don’t have to carry everything on your own — where you can be heard without judgment, and where things can start to make sense at your own pace.
Even small steps — understanding patterns, finding moments of grounding, or putting words to what you’ve been feeling — can begin to shift things in meaningful ways.
You deserve to feel supported, seen, and understood as you move through life’s challenges. Life in the North can ask a lot of you- often more than people realize.

Counselling sessions may be fully or partially covered through FNHA, CVAP, ICBC, and many extended health plans. Direct billing is available for several providers—please feel free to reach out if you have questions about your coverage.

About
Keera Bramhill, MACP, RCC
Mind Over Mountains Counselling reflects how I understand therapy and change.
Life can feel like difficult terrain—burnout that doesn’t ease, anxiety that lingers, relationship strain, or experiences that continue to shape how you move through the world. Healing is not about forcing your way forward, but about slowing down, understanding what you’ve been carrying, and building steadiness along the way.
I work with people who often appear capable and responsible on the outside, but feel overwhelmed underneath. Many are navigating stress, trauma, low mood, or relationship challenges that feel hard to shift on their own.
My approach is grounded, collaborative, and practical. Together, we explore patterns that developed for a reason, while building skills for emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, and self-trust—supporting meaningful, lasting change.
A Northern Perspective
I grew up in a remote Northern BC community in a family of outfitters, spending much of my time in the bush. That experience shaped how I understand resilience—steady, patient, and rooted in relationship.
Healing often happens in quiet, supported spaces. That continues to guide my work.
Practice & Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC #23058). My work is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally responsive, including care that honours Indigenous experiences and the impacts of intergenerational trauma. I am ASIST trained (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).
