Time for Healing

Welcome to Mind Over Mountains Counselling.

As a Northern BC provider rooted in a remote community upbringing, I understand the realities of living and working in the North. Living and working in Northern BC can bring unique challenges — the isolation, the pressures of work and family, and the realities of life in a remote community. It’s normal to feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or uncertain at times. Burnout, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, trauma, or challenges in relationships can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unheard.

For many, there are also the subtle or lasting effects of intergenerational experiences, cultural pressures, or past trauma, which can make everyday life feel heavier than it seems. These feelings are valid, and it’s understandable to want support in navigating them.

Healing often begins in a space where someone truly listens, where experiences are acknowledged, and where trust and clarity are present. Even small steps — understanding patterns, finding grounding, or exploring emotions — can make life feel more manageable, and connection with oneself and others more possible.

You are not alone in carrying these experiences, and it’s possible to feel supported, seen, and understood as you move through life’s challenges at your own pace.

About

Keera Bramhill, MACP, RCC

Mind Over Mountains Counselling reflects how I understand therapy and change.

Life can feel like difficult terrain—burnout that doesn’t ease, anxiety that lingers, relationship strain, or experiences that continue to shape how you move through the world. Healing is not about forcing your way forward, but about slowing down, understanding what you’ve been carrying, and building steadiness along the way.

I work with people who often appear capable and responsible on the outside, but feel overwhelmed underneath. Many are navigating stress, trauma, low mood, or relationship challenges that feel hard to shift on their own.

My approach is grounded, collaborative, and practical. Together, we explore patterns that developed for a reason, while building skills for emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, and self-trust—supporting meaningful, lasting change.

A Northern Perspective

I grew up in a remote Northern BC community in a family of outfitters, spending much of my time in the bush. That experience shaped how I understand resilience—steady, patient, and rooted in relationship.

Healing often happens in quiet, supported spaces. That continues to guide my work.

Practice & Approach

I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC #23058). My work is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally responsive, including care that honours Indigenous experiences and the impacts of intergenerational trauma.
